Enterprise Business Solutions Source and Support Team Member

Major Duties:

This position is responsible to deploy and support Source and Support functionality. The position is also responsible for providing both implementation and follow on support for our Source and Support processes . The individual will work with end users and team members on maintenance, break/fix and new Source and Support functionality within SAP. The position will require travel. (up to 25%)

Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:

Configuration of the following SAP areas
Procurement
Master Data
Purchase Requisitions and Orders
Sourcing
Conditions
Messaging

Accounts Payable
Vendor Accounts
Bank Account Creation and Maintenance
Plant Maintenance
Master Data
Order Processing
Maintenance Plans

Lead the implementation efforts of existing or new Source and Support functionality to the business by gathering, defining and translating business requirements into a functional design as well as coordinating and executing the development, testing and implementation of the solution

Provide leadership in redefining business processes and adapting to existing functionality where appropriate

Assure that Source and Support functionality is integrated with existing functionality across the ERP and other IT and business process designs of MeadWestvaco

Identify and resolve the root cause of day to day production issues

Collaborate with the business units to research, define and deploy business process improvement opportunities

Develop functional specifications to support the deployment of custom functionality

Test changes to Source and Support through the landscape from development to production which would include integration to other MWV systems.Track the progress of Source and Support related technology projects and alert EIS Management of potential delays, conflicts, or show-stopping problems as early as possible

Education:

Bachelors’ degree in IT or business/related field
Documented SAP implementation experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills to support the collaboration with the business units in delivering innovative and cost effective solutions

Experience

Grade 15 -

1-2 years of experience in business analysis, configuration or support of SAP in the above areas of responsibility

1-2 years of relevant business experience in the above areas of responsibility

Experience with managing small IT SAP projects

Grade 16 -

3-4 years of experience in business analysis, configuration or support of SAP in several of the above areas of responsibility

3-4 years of relevant business experience in the above areas of responsibility

Experience with managing IT SAP projects of medium complexity

Grade 17 -

5-7 years of experience in business analysis, configuration or support of SAP in many of the above areas of responsibility

5-7 years of relevant business experience in the above areas of responsibility

Experience with managing highly complex IT SAP projects
