Manager, Global ERP Solutions – Operate & Optimize
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
This is a leadership role designed to deliver strategic process improvement attention, tactical execution and managerial oversight of the company’s Global Enterprise Resource Planning Operate and Optimize initiatives. This individual is responsible for developing, enhancing and delivering a support mechanism to address the leveraging of the ERP Investment, providing needed attention to implemented organizations. This will include driving out inefficiencies and proactively implementing value driving enhancements.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Oversight and Accountability for the Company’s Global ERP Operate and Optimize Initiatives
Management of the ERP Operate and Optimize processes and personnel responsible for:
(a)Project Planning and execution
(b)Projects Orchestration and Oversight:
Monitoring and Status Communication
Issue resolution and/or escalation
Solution delivery assurance
Post implementation value attainment review
Business Requirements Definition and Gap Assessment
(c)Solution Enhancement Design, Configuration, and Customization
(d)Data Transformation and Management
(e)Testing
(f)Process Change Management
(g)Training and Certification
(h)Go-Live and Stabilization
Business and Functional Leadership Partnering.
Continuous Improvement – Approach and methodology monitoring, enhancing and maturation.
Assist with organizational development and bench strength cultivation – skill set assessment, enhancement and alignment.
Tight Business Solutions Leadership Team Integration – process collaboration and co-creation.
Strategic and Tactical planning
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Excellent knowledge of the IT business model and business operations
Excellent knowledge of SAP R/3 and Delivered Functionality
Excellent problem solving , dispute resolution and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately
Excellent skills in written/oral communications including group facilitation, presentation, and communicating across entire spectrum of an organization
Ability to be establish and lead cross functional teams
Ability to converse with business management and IT management on issues.
Excellent understanding of IT Service Management framework
Good strategic leadership skills, to drive change and direct others even if they don't report to you
Strong project management skills
Proven staff management skills
Well organized, and thorough
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/DESIRED:
BS/BA degree with 5-7 years experience working in Leadership role within a major corporate business or the equivalent years of demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a major corporate business
Working experience preferably in an IT and/or ERP environment
Multi-task orientation
Internal knowledge of MeadWestvaco’s business is helpful
Prior IT management experience
