Regular position in a big non-profit corporation,Ashburn,VA
This position reports to the Project Manager of Document Management System (DMS). The incumbent is responsible for software development for DMS applications which primarily includes Web development and will work under the technical guidance of the DMS Project Architect.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, develop, deploy, and maintain Documentum Webtop 5.3 customizations;
Provide recommendations and time estimates for development tasks;
Provide daily or as needed status updates on tasks to DMS Project Architect detailing issues they may have encountered;
Review business requirements and evolve into a software design;
Review, analyze and resolve bugs reported in incident tracking system;
Draft and maintain production documentation for Applications Operations;
Contact and listen to business users describe application issues; and
Recording of application business issues providing enough detail for others to efficiently analyze and resolve them.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant business technical discipline;
Minimum of 3 years professional software development experience in a corporate environment;
Solid understanding of object-oriented design and development;
Strong analytical, coding and problem solving skills required;
Minimum of 2 years professional experience coding in Java, including:
o Minimum of 1 year experience coding Servlet/JSP, J2EE, JDBC;
o Minimum of 1 year of GUI design, HTML/Javascript; and
o Minimum of 1 year coding SQL for Oracle or SQLServer
-$90-$95K salary with great benefits!!!
