What we do
We sell computer hardware -- PCI cards and embedded computers -- to control machines and robots for a variety of industries. Medical (including LASIK eye surgery), Semiconductor (the machines that make microchips), Packaging, ... basically anything with a motor.
We then must provide software libraries and tools to support the hardware. We do not write our customers' applications, just the libraries and tools for our customers to write their own.
Our libraries are designed to work on multiple operating systems and CPU platforms, with a primary focus on Windows XP, XPe, CE but still having strong focus on real-time operating systems. Most of our core library is written C -- partly due to legacy, partly due to portability. Higher level, we have a large part of our core libraries programmed in C. Some higher level code is written in C++. Some high-level Windows related libraries and tools are written in C++/CLI and C#.
It is a very exciting work place with a team-oriented environment. We actualy get to see our software do something physical -- move motors and machines.
