SoftIce on Xp-----SOS

hey,,
i have used SoftIce on win2000 now i want to use it on Windows XP...it installs ok but it does not load...even tried it from the command prompt gives System Error 127 No such procedure exists...please help

What version of SoftICE are you using? Probably you need some newer version, which is shipped with NuMega Driver Developer Suite. AFAIK SoftICE is no longer supported as stand-alone piece of software.

I actually got softice working in XP with DS 2.6 or 2.7 (can't recall). But really way too much trouble imo.

Why not switch to something like ollydbg? If what you need is a ring0/kernel level debugger, you can use WinDbg as an alternative.
