Pay Rate: $75,000 - $85,000 + bonus up to 10%

Project Description:
Our client is seeking a candidate who will provide senior network consulting services to their local customers and manage their internal corporate network. Their internal network and the majority of their customer networks are Microsoft-based and utilize technologies such as Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003, IIS, Sharepoint, SQL, etc...
One of the main roles of the Senior Engineer will be to act as the primary customer contact for specific clients, assisting with solutions, upgrades, and migrations for specific customer networks. This person would also provide senior-level engineering support to internal network staff when issues escalate, as well as providing technical input on proposals and the sales process as they relate to prospective customers.
*Other networking technologies this person will utilize include: Cisco routers, PIX firewalls, IIS and Linux web servers, VMWare Virtual Machines, HP and Dell Server equipment, storage area network, tape backup library systems, and primarily Dell desktop and laptop computers.
Work Environment:
Our client's environment offers a wide variety of experiences. The office is casual and friendly while remaining focused on customer needs and solution deliverables. Due to the nature of the network support field, there may be occasional situations that require overtime work in order to resolve a problem quickly and efficiently, however both internal and customer systems are very reliable and secure.
Must Haves to succeed:
*Deep knowledge of networking, security, routers, firewalls, and internet
*Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating networks of 500+ users
*Knowledge and experience in Exchange 2003, ISA, SQL, IIS and Linux Web Servers, Sharepoint, and Active Directory
*Extensive documentation experience
*Excellent communication/client-facing skills
*Associate's Degree in technical or related field
Nice to have:
*MCSE
*MCSA
*MCP
*CCNA or other Cisco Certifications
*CCA or other Citrix Certifications
*Security-related Certifications
*B.S. in technical or related field
