We represent a client in the game industry that has an exciting new position for an experienced Graphics Programmer for their office located Vancouver, B.C.
Responsibilities:
High level, game-side graphic programming using proprietary graphics library
Working closely with Tech Art Lead and Art Director in realizing game art at run time
Qualifications
2+ years video game experience – at least one shipped game in the role of rendering programmer
Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience with console hardware a must
Strong C++ skills
3D Studio Max SDK programming experience a plus
Python programming experience a plus
Required Skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong ability to conceptualize on a high level
Highly organized and self-motivated
Ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines
Works well within team environment
