Hi friends,
I want to install a network printer to my computer (WINXP) . But that printer is connected to a Win98 PC, so my PC can't see that WIN98 PC and I can't install.
How to WINXP see WIN98 on LAN ?
Please reply.
Thank you.

Are they both in the same workgroup? And, is someone "logged" into the Win98 machine?

Can you ping the Win98 machine? Mount drives?

Whenever I do this I run the network setup wizard on the XP machine, and when it asks you if you want to create a network setup disk I say yes and then use this disk on every other machine in the workgroup. It's always worked for me - W98, W2K or WXP.
