Hi, I am a representative of SGS International (a relatively new company). We have an innovative and unique web browser that we would like to have written and maintained for Windows, and it is currently only available for the Mac. The reason it can't be directly ported is because it's written in Objective-C and it relies on Apple's provided libraries. What we want is basically a Windows version of the same product to sell alongside our Mac version, with the same interface (which is already largely image based) and features. Now, we know that some interface idioms are not the same between the platforms and we understand that the Windows version would have to do those things in the native way. It would also have to use some html rendering engine (NOT ie, possibly gecko?).

This program has market potential as it has sold numerous copies while only being a beta. Any developers interested would negotiate a per-unit royalty deal with us as well as a chunk of money for finishing the program. To talk more with me about this, contact me at forumMan4 [at] gmail [dot] com or on aim at "therealwidgetman". We are very flexible.

Also, what's the deal with XP and Vista program compatibility? Would the program have to be rewritten for Vista or would it just need a recompile, or what?

Thanks,
Joel Levin
