Hi folks,
as I mentioned in the headline I was wondering which Bugtrackers are available and which you (and your management) prefer.
I'm asking that because at the moment we are using a commercial solution from Merant (PVCS). I'm not too happy with that because in my opinion it's lacking an adequate, modern user interface and its license is not exactly a bargain.
Then there is of course Bugzilla, but what I don't like about that one is, that it relies on a mySQL database and there is no way for choosing the DBMS freely. Moreover I'd like to avoid large maintenance efforts. I'm not sure if Bugzilla would be the best choice with that in mind. On the other hand it offers a good web interface even customers could use.
So what is your choice, which great piece of software do you use??
