Are you interested in being part of the team driving developer evangelism for the next release of Office Server System (a.k.a Office “12”)? This role requires a strong technical evangelist to lead evangelism efforts in the area of collaboration, driving adoption of next Windows SharePoint Services platform and real-time Instant Messaging presence technologies.
The areas of technology focus will be around building an integrated message for the following technologies
· Windows Sharepoint Services - Providing collaboration capabilities to deliver team based collaboration and document management
· Office - Build developer capabilities to extend Office applications to provide complete collaboration solution
· Live Communication Server and Clients - Enable dynamic presence within applications to enable real-time communication and feedback
· Specific responsibilities of the Office Server System Technical Evangelist:
· [Reach/Adoption] Drive strategic developer adoption for these core Office technologies.
· [Satisfaction] Augment overall satisfaction of developers using the Microsoft Office Server System from 1-1 engagement, through to community activities such as web casts.
· [Thought Leadership] Build scenario based architectural guidance which can be adopted by developers to accelerate adoption and early development of solutions.
· [Leadership] Lead virtual teams to build and execute key elements of the Office Server System early adoption programs - driving requirements for technical content, marketing collateral and processes to implement the program.
· [Field Execution] Support the WW subsidiaries to successfully execute the programmatic offerings.
Requirements/Qualifications
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a deep understanding and experience of developing, architecting and deploying server based solutions. The individual should also have excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to execute on ideas and analytical skills are most critical. Position will require 15% travel.
