I've been given the assignment of creating a upgrade/enhancement request tracking system for my company that will cater to several hundred users. This is the first time I have had to tackle an application of this size, and I was hoping that people would be able to suggest tips or practices that would help me ensure that the app reacts quickly and reliably to the users. It will involve many queries to SQL Server 2000 db's. Any constuctive suggestions will be welcomed.
