Foxpro: How to auto-save date to date field?

hello! I would like to automatically save a date to a date field. can anyone help?

I am not familiar with Foxpro. But I am sure you can get this info on msdn. Look out for ways to set defaults for column in Foxpro (just when you create the table schema). Else there would be a function to get the current datetime. Regards.
