Unable to add custom calculation

I am trying to add in some custom calculations on a Crystal Report (v10), and the help screen says that I need to add a member. I cannot figure out what they are trying to say. No matter where I right click, I do not get an option to add a member. What am I doing wrong?

What do you mean by Custom Calculations?

You need to make use of Formulas
