I'm looking for someone that is creating/developing/programming a system that uses RFID. I'm looking for such a person to share some of their knowledge in an article or two (These articles would be for another site that could pay a token amount).

I've been trying to program a system that uses RFID, but so far have been unable to piece together from component providers an interface (open) to use RFID.

It seems that every solution provider has readers that connect to a "control unit" that interfaces from that point to a proprietary application to perform a specific function. Normally this function is to control magnetic locks on office doors.

If your investigation turns up an open solution provider, I'd certainly be interested if you'd share this knowledge. I've met nothing but dead-ends investigating this.
