Save/Load page state, save scrollbar position etc...

I have an asp button, so when clicked, it sends the information and whatnot, and then re-loads the page, what i want to is load the page at the same (or close to) the position, that the person was at. It may help that this is the bottom of the page.

All i want to know is can i save the page state or get the position of the scrollbar, so that when it reloads its at the right place.

I alread have code to check if the button was pressed, even after the page re-loading so, whatever.

If you are sure that most of your clients will be using IE5.5+ browser - just set Page.SmartNavigation property to true.

Otherwise you have to implement this functionality using client side scripting
E.g. saving a scrollbar position on posting page to the server and restoring it next time after page has loaded.
