Description
We are a Gaming company /studio with offices in Bangalore/Delhi and the US. We are currently seeking talented and energetic Game Developer with a passion for games, and a deep and intuitive understanding of what makes them fun, Someone who is willing to work closely with designers but is bold enough to make independent contributions and loves to tinker with the fidgety little bits until everything is just right.
Summary
This position is for our Bangalore Office, the incumbent will be responsible for working closely with producers and artists during pre-production and production to create prototypes and final code for games PC/Console. The ideal candidate will also serve as a great mentor, a core member of the studio’s staff, and a positive presence in the office.
Job Duties
Prototype game ideas (their own and others’)
Contribute to the architecture and AI design of the game;
Follow project specifications to finish code on time creates the 'ever higher' quality products demanded by the industry and consumers.
Work with QA to identify and track bug fixes.
Maintain flexibility to assist with special projects, specially on remote managed projects
Requirements:
At least 2 /3 years experience in the game industry as and AI Programmer with ambition and talent , or alternatively at least 2 years experience as AI-Programmer with ambition to start in the games industry.
Deep knowledge of object oriented C++ programming , DirectX 8.0 and above
Ability to work within a schedule
Motivation to work in a small team of creative people
Passion for innovative computer-games
Previously worked at min. one released A-title is a plus
Perl, mySQL,
- OpenTV (iTV)
Candidates with experience on developing AI modules of existing 3D Game Engines on OpenGL Platform Level Programming and Module Integration. AI Programming and Implementation
Education Required
High school diploma, or equivalent, required
College degree in Computer Science or related field, a plus
