Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for writing, scheduling, and executing software integration testing (SwIT). These integration tests are meant to test the interaction of multiple software components being combined to create a single software stack. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Interacting with Software Development Engineers to discuss test design and defects
- Interacting with other Software Validation Engineers to correlate and root cause defects
- Communicating test results both verbally and graphically to stakeholders
Qualifications
You should possess a relevant educational qualification with some programming or development background (C++, HTML, JScript*, XML, COM* preferred). Additional qualifications include:
- Familiarity with Microsoft* Windows* programming and Intel-based platforms
- Strong communication skills
- Software Test or Validation background would be an added advantage
- Hardware Validation background would be an added advantage
- Familiarity with testing strategies would be an added advantage
