Responsibilities
The Digital Home team in the Advanced Development group in Digital Home Group/Consumer Client Group (CCG) is looking for a software engineer. The team is developing a number of digital home software components to enable PCs to play personal and premium content (pictures, audio, and video) on other home devices using home networks for connectivity. You will be responsible for developing software components that will ship as part of the East Fork program and follow on programs, focusing mainly on Media streaming components.
Qualifications
You must possess a strong Bachelor of Science degree with three years experience or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. You must be able to design and implement quality software, on schedule, working under the guidance of more senior engineers. Experience developing C/C++ software on Windows* platforms is highly desirable. Experience with multimedia (audio and video processing), Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), and wireless networks would be an added advantage.
