Responsibilities
The Digital Home Advanced Development team in the Digital Home Group/Consumer Client Group is looking for a software engineer. The team is developing a number of digital home software components to enable PCs to play personal and premium content (pictures, audio, and video) on other home devices using home networks for connectivity. You will be responsible for developing software components that enable application remoting, such as, a PC application's output to be sent over a network and rendered on a display device (for example, TV) and user input sent back over the network to the PC application.
Qualifications
You must possess a strong Bachelor of Science degree with five years experience or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with three years experience. You must be able to design and implement quality software, on schedule. Solid experience developing C/C++ software and Component Object Model (COM)/ActiveX* controls on Windows* platforms is highly desirable. Experience in Web application design and implementation, and WinSock2* programming is a plus.
