Employees in the Digital Home group focus on designing and delivering solutions for the desktop PC, including processors, chipsets, motherboards, software and services.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will be working as a Software Engineer to develop next generation application and infrastructure software in the award winning Digital Home Advance Development team (DHAD) of Consumer Client Group (CCG). Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Working with other team members as well as other Intel groups to identify future digital home usage requirements
- Developing early prototypes
- Building product-quality solutions
- Delivering them for future Intel® networked multimedia products
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree and/or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification with two years of relevant working experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong technology background
- Solid software design and programming skills
- Experience developing C and/or C++ software on Windows* platforms
- Good understanding and development experience of networking protocols (TCP and/or IP)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
