Business group overview: Intel is committed to designing leading-edge components for the desktop PC platform enabling consumer users to be more productive. Employees in the Digital Home group focus on designing and delivering solutions for the desktop PC, including processors, chipsets, motherboards, software and services.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will be providing Digital Home Service Architectural leadership for the Digital Home and/or Consumer Client Group (CCG). You will be a key member of the Digital Home Advanced Development (DHAD) Group in CCG. You will be working with other CCG, Software and Solutions Group (SSG), Corporate Technology Group (CTG), and Intel's senior staff to define future Home Service Infrastructure, building technology, developing solutions, and evangelizing them to the industry to facilitate Digital Home Platform growth in the future.
Qualifications
You must be a Strategic technologist with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and more than six years of relevant industry experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong knowledge and industry experience in virtualization, networking, security, and platform manageability
- Deep and broad software architecture and design skills
- Ability to work across organizations and business units
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven excellent team player
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate independently and multiplex your time between diverse tasks
- Experience of Architecture and Protocol definition at the standard group would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of AMT, VT, and LT would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Multimedia and Streaming would be an added advantage
