confusion in installing .net framework on server running huge asp application

hi friends,

i am in confusion that , i have an .net application i have to run it on a win 2000 server, which already have an huge asp application running on it. now, my confusion is that suppose i am installing .net framework on the same server and launching my asp.net application over there will this effect in any manner to the existing huge asp application.
