Printable DirectX and OPen_GL refernces?

Can someone fill me in as to where I can obtain a printable and complete reference of Direct X and Open_Gl which are preferibly up to date?

I know this will take a lot of paper but I feel it is the only way I can truly learn it, as no-one wants to study at a computer all day.
