Hi guys,

I want to convert disk 0 on the Windows 2003 web server to dynamic. I know how to do this but I get this warning before I accept the changes:

"After you convert these disks to dynamic, you will not be able to start other installed operating systems from any volume on these disks. Are you sure you want to convert?"

Disk 0 is where 2 current partitions are, C Drive (Operating System) and D Drive where all the necessary files, permissions and set up live. So, as you can see I am a little reluctant to convert to Dynamic if it means loosing my OS on C Drive and all of the files on D Drive.

The main goal is that I have 2 disks on the server (also have disk 1) and I wish to 'Mirror' both disks in case of hardware failure the other disk steps in. Disk 1 has been converted to dynamic fine as this had no files on it at all and was a new disk. It did not also display the above warning message.

Any ideas????

Thanks for looking

Dan
