I am back again with another DOs question.
I am trying to make a network bootdisk for my PCMCIA Intel PRO/100 cardbus II on my IBM A31p labtop.
I cna get the card to work in windows XP but not in DOS. I execute the enabler ( CBcombo.exe ) before i load the driver but everytime i get the same error: when i execute cbcombo.exe it says "A free memory segment coudl not be found"
I have gotten my NIC to work with a bootdisk and map a drive so i know the DHCP server is configured properly but i need to get the PCMCIA working.
I've played around without the loading sequence of cbcombo.exe, the driver, EMM386 (max memory, max compatible, no EMM386).
Has anyone gotten this card to work? Any good PCMCIA bootdisk images out their i coudl start with?
