GetTextMetrics() error after install the application

Hi,
After the client installs our application, GetTextMetircs() function is failing(i.e returing Zero ). Received windows error message "The specified resource type cannot be found in the image file". Rebooting the machine solves the problem.

I just want to know what may be causing this failure?

That seems to be a race condition, and if there is no documentary or KB on it, I cannot see any way to solve or even explain this. Thus I think you have to accept it :o
