I everyone,
I have two problems after installing MSDE2000 release A on a win2000 with SP4.
1- I have Microsoft Office Premium edition on the win2k computer. Whenever I load MS access and try to create a new adp project, I have a message box saying that MSDE2000 engine is not installed on the computer which is not true because it is installed and can be show in control panel.
2- In the same message box, if I click the OK button to indicate that I MSDE2000 is installed already, the wizard to create the adp project pops up but after I enter the login name "SA" followed by the password, I have a message saying that the "sa" login name is not associated with a trusted connection and the wizard doesn't go to the next screen. When I installed MSDE2000 release A, I used the setup parameter: C:> setup SAPWD="ThePass" as indicated in the readme.htm file. Could anyone sheds a light on this issue?
