Dear Sir
I am using SQL Server 7. I have a question regarding setting up the server.
I have SQL server 7 desktop edition installed in the client machines with OS Win 98 2nd Edition. I have an windows NT 4 operating system on particular computer. There I have also installed SQL server 7 server edition from the same installation CD that I user for client machines.
Now my question is how can I connect to the SQL server that is in the Windows NT machine from the windows 98 machines.
I want to connect to that NT machine and get data from the database I have created there. Can any one give me the basic idea of connection to the NT server from the windows 98 client. If u need any other information regarding machine names, protocols etc please do reply me back I will provide you with the information.
Meanwhile if you can please do give me information regarding basics of connecting to servers specially SQL server 7
Please help me.
Regards
AmaRjit
