How to make the horizontal scroll of Listbox work?

The text in listbox expends the border of listbox. So, I assign the Horizontal Scroll appearance TRUE. I can see Horizontal Scroll under design environment, but I can't move Horizontal Scroll when debugging the program. Could you give me some suggestion? Or, what can I do?
