How to access remote SourceSafe from Mac and Linux

Our team used MS VSS for source control on windows, and currently we develop partly on Mac and Linux. Moreover, our team is a distributed one, over half of which is located in another city. We colaborate via internet connection.
The problem is how to access our remote SourceSafe database from Mac and Linux?
Is there a way around?
Any reply from you will be appreciated. :-))
