I got confused by Microsoft's .NET. What is the replacement for some win32 applications in .NET world? What is going to replace a Windows service written in C++ 6.0? should this kind of application be rewritten in Managed C++? For sure this kind of service can't be written in C# because performance is the #1 concideration and there is a lot of linked list data structure.
Can any one give me some clues?
Thanks.
