parser error(unknown server application)

hello,

when i am running aspx pages in my application it was showing as parser error(unknown server application)

below i am giving how i am getting the error.

Parser Error
Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific parse error details and modify your source file appropriately.

i have these aspx pages inside subfolders of folders. is it causes any problem?
