When i try to import data into sql server2000 from excel using DTS Import/Export Wizard all the data does not gets transferred.
in my excel sheet i have around 6 columns and there are no blank cells in my excel sheet but still when i select the file in the DTS Import/Export wizard and view the contents there are blank values in a couple of columns.
In the columns the data entered is either Alpha-Numeric or Numeric. Is this could be a problem? But while transformation i select that particular column as Varchar only. How can we overcome this problem.
