Title: Software Engineer
In this position, you will be responsible for the specification, software analysis, software development, programming, software maintenance, test planning and unit testing of computer software applications on the Internet, personal computer, multimedia CD ROM platforms, gaming consoles, as well as other related technical jobs functions as they relate to the position and future direction of the Company.
Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills, as you will be working in development teams, with project managers, and potentially with sales staff and clients.
The software you will be programming includes Internet games programmed in Shockwave, Flash or Java, web sites (both client side HTML/JavaScript and server side CGI depending on target platform), PC games (programmed in C++ or Director) and CD ROM multimedia applications (programmed in Director).
Good troubleshooting and code maintenance skills are necessary, as a majority of this position will be maintaining, debugging and extending existing products.
Operating Systems: Windows (all), Mac (OS9 and OS X), Linux.
Languages: Lingo, Action Script, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, XML, CSS, SQL, C++, Java, C#, perl, PHP.
Software: Director, Flash, Microsoft Developer Studio, Dreamweaver, Microsoft IIS, Apache, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Microsoft Source Safe.
