Assist customers by phone in a courteous manner solving technical problems arising from
the enterprise application. This position will thoroughly document customer interactions
in database for future use.
Job Requirements
• Employ courteous friendly conversation and provide interpersonal relationship-building
skills to create and maintain professional rapport with customers.
• Accurately document customer problems and main work note long in customer database
until incident resolved to customer satisfaction or escalated.
• Resolve customers problems in a timely fashion resulting in high level of customer
satisfaction
• Recommends solutions with regard to product use, implementation or upgrade processes
based upon investigation and successfully tested resolution options. When upgrades are
released, guides the customer through the process
• When required, initiates communication to escalate client issues internally. Ensures
hand-off to next individual in sequence to resolve incident.
• Reproduce customer problems internally for development team
• Maintain strongly positive attitude with customers and workgroups despite difficult
customer situations which will inevitably occur
• Occasional on-site client support may be required
• Testing internal and external release of the product for quality assurance
• Report bugs using tools and regress them in new releases
• Keep track of customer information (environment, version, software, hardware)
• Ship product to client
Qualifications:
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent in experience
• Working knowledge of: Visual Basic 6.0, Installshield, Wise Installation, Oracle or SQL
Server programming, Javascript, VB script
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Evidence of professional approach to assignments: responsible, efficient, effective,
ethical
