MSN’s Member Experience merchandizing team wants to fill several immediately-opened positions with experienced Software Development Engineers to create the next service-oriented merchandizing site.

The currently-existing property already receives millions of users per month in dozens of countries and will be replaced by a cross-Microsoft services -merchandizing application, including fee and paid services. We are the gateway for many of MSN’s online revenue-generating services and crucial to the success of MSN, and we achieve that by providing dynamic and personalized experiences for each user. Going forward, we will be extending that charter to small business and other “live” services.

The successful candidate will work on the UI and other front-end infrastructure components necessary to build a dynamic, scalable, and targeted user experience that drives the user to a “purchase” decision.

You will work with teams throughout MSN to build, extend, and maintain this new application. We are looking for someone able to design and document new features to projects from beginning to end with little direct supervision. You should have been through at least one major, high-scale web application/site release in the past, and know what it takes to ship such as project.

A BA/BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Detail-oriented and willing to take on big challenges in a short release cycle; exceptional cross-team collaboration skills and a desire to work within a multi-disciplinary environment.

Development skills: HTML, Javascript, and CSS expert, as well as thorough understanding of IIS and web debugging required. Software development skills: Must have a thorough understanding of the .NET Framework and related technologies; ASP.NET, C#.

Please don't wait!! Email me your resume for immediate consideration for a position on this dynamic team!!
