Hi my name is David Rodriguez. Right now my team is in the early stages of the development process for a futuristic first person shooter/third person action game. We are using the Ogre 3d engine URL http://www.ogre3d.org/.
We are currently looking for 2 to 3 C++ programmers, 2 to 3 2d artists, as well as 2 to 3 3d artists - who are all looking to gain experience in the programming side of the gaming industry. We ask that you are ready to work on this project from the time that you're accepted. The development of this game will take at least a year to complete, so please try to make sure that you have that much time, if not more, in which you can dedicate to this game. We only ask that you commit 8-10 hours a week to this project and that you keep in touch with us constantly.
This project is a non-paid project, but if the game does make a profit everyone will be entitled to a commission.

This game currently does not have a website.
Right now the programming side of the game has completed two tech demos (walking a character around and car physics). You can try our physics demo URL http://www.stuffwelike.com/viw/engine/ogre/demo2.rar *Note the artwork and models used in this demo were not created by this team and are only used to show the coding in work.*

The requirements to be a programmer in this group are:
- At least 2 years of C++ knowledge
- At least some knowledge of programming in 3d (concepts or programming)
- You are able to work well within a group
- You are asked to work around 8-10 hours a week on this project
The requirements to be a 2d artist in this group are:
- At least 2 years of drawing (environment, vehicle/weapons, and character)
- You'll have to draw a concept until we decide until which version looks best
- Your work must be drawn from different angles (for the finalized version - for modeling purposes)
- You are able to work well within a group
- You are asked to work around 8-10 hours a week on this project
The requirements to be a 3d artist in this group are:
- At least 2 years of modeling or animating
- You are able to work well within a group
- You are asked to work around 8-10 hours a week on this project
