How to cancel scan process even when scanner is warming up

Dear all,

I am work with scanner having D-ICE capability. My
application requires customize all UI (Source and Source Manager UIs are
not used). (Source UI and Progress Indicator is set to disable)

My application now check scanning progress through parts of image that are
tranferd (using MEMORY mode). When not using D-ICE features, the warming
up process happen shortly, so my application can show the progress rather
correctly.

But when use D-ICE feature, the warming up process take too long time, and
I cannot cancel this warming proces.

If anyone have met or known this problem, please give a sugguest. Thank

P.S: When I enable the Source's Process Indicator, I can cancel the
warming up process. So I wonder that TWAIN may have any call-back funtion
that allow us to cancel this process ????
