Greetings:
Is there anybody out there that is using Visio to either forward or reverse engineer your Visual Studio projects? I'd really like to pick your brains.
Do you know of ANY tutorial or instructive manual that can take me (a reasonably experienced MFC Visual Studio programmer) from a place of knowing nothing about UML diagramming and Visio to a place where I can use this product effectively to create documentation that actually means something to somebody other than myself?
I would like to use Visio to:
1. Document an existing project "after the fact". Perhaps using Visio to help me to clean up the project, if such a thing is possible.
2. Use Visio to plan the architecture of a project ahead of time and help to produce a better laid out project than might otherwise result. It would be nice to be able to generate at least some starter code that I can subsequently load into Visual Studio and begin developing.
Your help and advice would be greatly appeciated.
