This question is about IDirectSoundBuffer. I have set the primary buffer to 16 bit, 8000Hz. However when I load the secondary buffer with all 0x0000, I still get a lot of noise out the speakers. I would think that would be silence but I get alot of noise.

can you show maybe some code-snipps, maybe you've forgotten some ini-stuff?
