How to retrieve USB Serial Number ?

Hi ,

Is there any code in VB or VC++ through which I can retrieve USB Serial number ? I have code to retiever Hard disk drive serial number, but I need to get the serial number of an USB device..

Has anyone used
"IOCTL_STORAGE_GET_MEDIA_SERIAL_NUMBER" available in Windows DDK.

Any help is greatly appreciated...
