Window with no title bar?

How can I make a window with no title bar? I don't like the thick rounded blue titlebars in certain cases and would like to have just a thin rectangular border. Is it possible to still have the window movable and sizable or will that only occur with a fat title bar? Maybe the only way is to capture those paint messages for the borders...I hope not...I don't know what all of them are!

Are there restrictions on the handle? I tried a POPUP style but it was not visible. Adding the VISIBLE style didn't help. Perhaps because I have the desktop as the parent? (I am not really sure what a POPUP style would get me, anyways).

Have you tried creating a window without the WS_CAPTION style? Or changing yours to remove the WS_CAPTION style?
