Custom modal popup

Hi,

Can anyone help me to suspend execution of the opener's javascript code until my custom popup (window.open(...)) is closed?

When I launch my popup, the opener goes ahead executing model logic when I would like it to wait until the popup is closed.

I cannot use the standard confirm() box.
