updating the template automatically with new columns

I have a report template that is based on a view. I'm delivering reports to end users via browser using the Crystal Print Engine API (Export to HTML/word/excel etc) in CR v9.2

The problem I'm facing is the view on which the template is based is going to change, new coulmns will be added, how can I make sure the template will now fetch information from those columns ?? w/o having to modify the template file (end users might not have CR)

It's bit confusing. Rightnow where are the templates located ? at your development site or at end users site (because you said via browser you are doing that ) ?

I think change of view also involves change of template and you need to redistribute modified template ? I am missing something here ?
