Include Javascript in Velocity

Hi,

I'm trying to inculde Javascript(s) or .js files in Jakarta Velocity (.vm) files. I have a drop down menu in javascript and have tried everything that I can think of to make it work, but can't.

I am hoping you can help me out by telling me where I might have gone wrong and showing me what I need to do.
