ASP Web Controls - aspnet_regiis

I had a web app which I developed fine locally. I have static IPs so tried to configure IIS to use an assigned IP so I could access remotely. Suddenly the app couldn't run so I returned the settings to as before but as soon as I invoked the datagrid all my controls disappeared.

I ran aspnet_regiis -i but this did not help, so I repaired Visual studio 2003 but again this has not helped.

Any clues as what I need to do?

found out what to do - had to run aspnet_regiis -r as well
