Problem in Data accessing

Thank you for the new forum which is CR.

I'm using CR 9 with PostgreSQL.

I'm having problem with accessing the data from a table which is of size app. 4 GB.

For most of the queries it simply returns 0 records even though it is containing data with the specified criteria.

And some times it returns "Failed to fetch rowset" and "Virtual memory too low...."

How can I get the records?

What's the way to optimize the speed generally?

If u have any idea, pls help me
