Hey there,

We have a website and we are looking for a good web host to transfer our website.

Our site is not an e-commerce website. It is just a basic site containing information about our company, somewhat similar to
http://www.ntcsites.com/veetechpc/nss-folder/veetechpc1/Veetech.html (www.ntcsites.com/veetechpc/nss-folder/veetechpc1/Veetech.html)

Could you please tell me a good webhost? I have browsed the net and have found a couple of sites:

http://www.webhost4life.com/

http://www.globat.com/

Would appreciate if you could please help us out.

Thanks,
Suna

Perhaps this thread (http://codeguru.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=265824&highlight=web+host) will be of use.

If you are looking for something cheap I recommend livehost.net (I don't personally have a website hosted there). It is very cheap and the guy who runs it is very nice.

I have been using Powweb for my web host for almost two years, and I have been very satisfied with them. Their web hosting service was very good when I started, and they keep making it better.
They have a very active user forum (http://forum.powweb.com )where you can get help from other powweb users to help you solve almost any problem you may encounter in building or managing your web site. You can go to the forum and ask any questions you like before you sign up.
There are numerous tutorials to help with many aspects of managing your site on powweb.
I also have a site with another host provider, but I am thinking of moving that one to powweb also.

Check it out at http://www.powweb.com
