Hiya,
I've got a website and currently creating a new page, of which involves the users filling in a form..
The form has drop down boxes, the content of these boxes is derived by data in a database, to do this i have created a loop function which loops though the database following a where function on an sql statement.. This all works fine, however i don't want the user to be limited to just using these options. I want the user to be able to choose these options or to type in there own option..
Can anyone shead any light on this.. More of a HTML/Javascript problem, but i thought you guys maybe able to help...
OK, whilst i'm here, i also have a guestbook, for users to sign.. To prevent users playing with my code, i have script to check for < or > and replace with > or <. Thats all cool and works well, however, i cant seem to come up with a way to alter a '. Currently the script just replaces the ' with a space.. not a very good solution. The page just read the content as a comment, with this.. Can anyone show me a way around this problem as well...
Cheers Guys,
